Weitere Reisetipps in Innsbruck findet ihr hier: 🤍 Innsbruck wird als Hauptstadt der Alpen bezeichnet. Sanft schlängelt sich der Inn an bunten Hausfassaden vorbei. Dahinter ragen die schroffen Felswände der Nordkette auf. So ist Innsbruck ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für eure nächste Reise in die Berge. Ihr könnt hier wandern, ihr könnt durch die Altstadt schlendern, ihr könnt die Vorzüge des Stadtlebens genießen und ihr könnt hier sogar surfen. Wir reisen mit dem Zug an. Ab München dauert die Fahrt rund 1:45 Stunden. Und vom Bahnhof ist man super schnell zu Fuß in der Altstadt. Da halten wir auch geradewegs auf die erste Sehenswürdigkeit zu. Denn direkt vor uns glitzert das Goldene Dachl. Es besteht aus 2.657 vergoldeten Schindeln. Da gibt’s auch ein Museum, in dem einige Originale ausgestellt sind. Wenn ihr das Goldene Dachl von oben sehen wollt, dann lohnt sich der Aufstieg auf den Stadtturm. Von hier sieht man auch sehr schön über die gesamte Stadt hinweg und wie Innsbruck von den Bergen umgeben ist. Gleich nebenan liegt die kaiserliche Hofburg. Kaum zu glauben, dass das herrschaftliche Gebäude von Maria Theresia und Sissi eigentlich nur so als Ferienhäuschen genutzt wurde. Mich hat der Riesensaal am meisten beeindruckt. Besucht unbedingt auch die Hofkirche. Schaut mal, wie schön verziert der Innenraum mit seinen Marmorsäulen und der weißen Decke aussieht. Von der City ist es auch nicht weit in die Berge. Eine schöne Wanderung ist zum Beispiel die Tour zum Solsteinhaus. Hier könnt ihr mitten im Karwendelgebirge übernachten und am nächsten Tag auf einen der umliegenden Gipfel aufsteigen. Wir haben uns für die Kuhljochspitze entschieden. Es gibt aber noch viele weitere schöne Wanderungen rund um Innsbruck. Eine einfache Tour haben wir am Patscherkofel gemacht. Nach dem Aufstieg zum Gipfelkreuz geht es weiter über den aussichtsreichen Zirbenweg. Genau gegenüber liegt die Nordkette. Hier empfehle ich den Goetheweg. Ihr solltet allerdings schwindelfrei und trittsicher sein. Denn der Weg ist an sich nicht schwer, aber es geht manchmal ganz schön steil nach unten. Dafür habt ihr sensationelle Blicke ins Karwendel und auf die Stadt hinab. Wer noch wagemutiger ist und schon erste Klettersteig-Erfahrung mitbringt, kann auch geradewegs über den Grat kraxeln. Der Innsbrucker Klettersteig führt auf über 2.000 m Höhe oberhalb vom Inntal immer am Fels entlang. Und wenn ihr schon an der Nordkette seid, dann fahrt mit der Seilbahn zur Hungerburg. Hier liegt der Alpenzoo mit rund 150 Tierarten und insgesamt 2000 Tieren. Eines haben sie alle gemeinsam: Sie leben alle in den Bergen. Darunter sind Mönchsgeier, Steinadler, Murmeltiere, Luchse, Elche. Und eben auch Braunbären. Viele Arten sind allerdings leider stark vom Aussterben bedroht. Mein nächster Tipp ist die Bergisel-Schanze. Hier macht die Vierschanzen-Tournee jährlich Station. Ein Lift bringt euch bis zum Schanzentisch in knapp 50. m Höhe. Wir beobachten während unseres Aufenthalts sogar einen Sprung eines Skispringers. Im Sommer gibt es nämlich tägliches Show-Springen. Und damit kommen wir zu Schloss Ambras. Mitten in einem riesigen Park am Stadtrand liegt das herrschaftliche Schloss. Ein Tiroler Landesfürst hat die mittelalterliche Burganlage als Geschenk an seine Frau in ein Renaissance-Schloss umbauen lassen. Das Herzstück ist das Spanische Saal. Aber wusstet ihr, dass man in Innsbruck auch Surfen kann? Ich bin Surf-Anfängerin und habe das mal ausprobiert: Upstream-Surfing heißt diese neue Sportart. Ähnlich wie beim Wakeboarden muss man sich an einem Seil festhalten. Und dann heißt es, das Gleichgewicht halten, Kurven fahren und nicht gleich wieder in Wasser fallen. Leichter gesagt als getan. Zum Schluss habe ich mich tatsächlich ein paar Sekunden auf dem Brett gehalten. Zur Not könnt ihr euch auch einfach auf das Brett legen und euch durch das Wasser ziehen lassen. Ähnlich rasant geht es auch beim Mountaincart fahren zu. Hier an der Muttereralm haben wir uns sportliche Dreiräder ausgeliegehen und sind dann mit Vollspeed eine kurvenreiche Schotterstraße nach unten gedüst. Das ist Adrenalin pur! Innsbruck kann sich aber auch von einer ganz anderen Seite zeigen. Auf der Nordkette werden am Wochenende entspannte Yoga-Einheiten angeboten. Hier ist es schön, nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag die Energiespeicher hoch über der Stadt wieder aufzuladen. Und zum Schluss bietet sich ein Einkehrschwung in eine der zahlreichen Rooftop-Bars an. Innsbruck, Austria Summer Walk - Austrian Alps The second destination of our European trip is the beautiful Austrian city of Innsbruck. We start our walk near Casino Innsbruck and shortly we can see one of the most iconic monuments of Innsbruck, the Triumphal Arch, which depicts the state symbols of the Habsburg monarchy. We continue our walk along Maria-Theresien-Straße, named after Empress Maria Theresa, which is a wide, slightly curved boulevard and shopping street and a central street in Innsbruck that dates back to the first city expansion in the 13th century. Then we walk through Herzog-Friedrich-Straße, the central street through Innsbruck's old town. It is named after Duke Friedrich IV "with the empty pocket". Finally, we reach Innbrücke, also called the Old Inn Bridge, which is a road bridge over the Inn River. This first bridge at this point was built in the 12th century, it gave the city of Innsbruck its name and can also be found in the city coat of arms. We finish our walk at Innsbruck's buzzing market where you can try the famous Austrian wursts. #CAMPER #OOSTENRIJK #INNSBRUCK We zijn met de camper aangekomen in het Oostenrijkse Innsbruck. Dit hadden we niet verwacht! Een stad die ons verrast heeft door de vele mooie historische gebouwen, mooie winkels en leuke sfeer. Veel mensen zullen het misschien passeren tijdens een doorreis, maar wij komen er achter dat het zeker een bezoek waard is. Al belanden we op een camperplek dat voor ons echt een nachtmerrie is, we besluiten meteen rechtsomkeer te gaan en op zoek naar een betere plek in deze stad die niet veel camperplekken kent. Maar we zijn niet voor 1 gat te vangen en het lukt ons een super plekje te scoren! We maken ook nog een leuk uitstapje naar Burgerburg dat bereikbaar is met een bijzonder leuk treintje dat de heuvel op gaat naar het bergdorp. Het bied een prachtig uitzicht op de stad. Innsbruck / Austria is of the state of Tyrol. The city is famous as a destination for winter sports. With its Imperial architecture in the old town it is also a popular destination for tourists. We start today's walking tour on a summer day at the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl). This Ornate Habsburg residence (now a museum) is decorated by 2657 shiny tiles. First we get to the Hofburg and quickly back to the central Maria Theresien Straße with St. Anne's Column (Annasäule). This is one of the most popular streets in the city. We follow it to the Triumphpforte and walk around Maximilianstraße. The Landhausplatz is less frequented today though some skaters use it for their practice. As we return to the city center passing through the town hall mall, we pay a visit to the market square. It's busy there with shops and amusement. Across the the river Inn the Innbrücke is nice for views of the city. At this location the first bridge was built in the 12th century. We get back to the old town, visit the St. James Cathedral (Dom zu St. Jakob) and relax a bit from in the Hofgarten. After we exit the park it's to get back to the train station. A bit in a hurry it's half jogging so we don't miss our train. All went well so we continue our trip back to Germany. Deze zomer waren wij 24 UUR in de Alpenstad Innsbruck. In deze stad hadden we de mogelijkheid om een stedentrip en bergvakantie te combineren. Zo stonden mountainbiken, mountainkarten en wandelen op het programma, maar bezochten we ook de stad zelf en de vele bezienswaardigheden die het te bieden heeft. Innsbruck is de hoofdstad van de Oostenrijkse deelstaat Tirol en ligt aan de rivier de Inn. Deze stad heeft een gezellig centrum met verschillende barretjes en restaurants. Als je in Innsbruck bent, mag een bezoek aan het Neues Hof met het balkon met een gouden dak, de Kaiserliche Hofburg en de Hofkirche zeker niet ontbreken. The old town of Innsbruck (german name: Altstadt) is one of the statistical areas of Innsbruck, is part of the historical center of the city. Initially, the old city was surrounded by a powerful medieval ring wall and a moat. Ein genialer Tag in der Hauptstadt der Alpen! Top-Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugsziele, die ihr in Innsbruck nicht verpassen solltet: Schloss Ambras, Goldenes Dachl, Nordkette u.v.m. Wart ihr schon mal in Innsbruck? Wenn ja, was habt ihr gemacht? Schreibt uns eure Tourentipps und Vorschläge gerne in die Kommentare. Wir starten den Tag im Adlers Hotel mitten in der Stadt. Die Aussicht über die Altstadt und die Nordkette ist gigantisch. Da kann ich gar nicht länger warten. Zeit, aufzubrechen! Dazu geht es zuerst tiefer in die Altstadt hinein. Wir genießen den Blick auf den Inn mit den typisch bunten Häusern und der Nordkette im Hintergrund. Dann geht's vorbei am Goldenen Dachl zum Hofgarten. Und kurz darauf in die Sillschlucht. Die imposante Schlucht liegt direkt vor den Toren der Stadt. Kaum habt ihr die letzten Häuser hinter euch gelassen, schon seid ihr schon mitten in der Natur. Das geht ruck-zuck. Dort blicken wir zuerst von der Aussichtsplattform in die Tiefe und gehen dann noch näher ans Wasser heran. Ich habe mir die Sill viel ruhiger vorgestellt. Das ist sie ganz und gar nicht. Kein Wunder, dass der reißende Fluss auch bei Kajakfahrern beliebt ist. Oberhalb der Schlucht ragt die Bergisel Schanze auf. Dort waren wir bei unserem letzten Besuch. Auch die könnt ihr besichtigen. Hier macht jedes Jahr im Januar die Vierschanzentournee Halt. Von dort geht es weiter nach Igls und mit der Patscherkofelbahn zum Patscherkofel hinauf. Die Auffahrt mit der Seilbahn ist mit der Innsbruck Card kostenlos. Auch sonst lohnt sich die Karte. Damit könnt ihr nämlich die Attraktionen und Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt umsonst besichtigen. Oben angekommen starten wir auf eine kleine Wanderung zum Gipfelkreuz. Der Berg wirkt von unten sehr unscheinbar. Von oben ist er allerdings ein super Aussichtsberg. Hier passt das Sprichwort: Klein aber oho. :) Zu unseren Füßen liegt Innsbruck, wir sehen die Nordkette imposant vor uns aufragen, blicken auf die Serles und können in Richtung Stubaital, Stubaier Gletscher und sogar bis nach Südtirol schauen. Auf der anderen Seite an der Nordkette gibt es übrigens auch einen coolen Klettersteig. Der führt spektakulär am Grat entlang und bietet ebenfalls tolle Ausblicke auf die Stadt und in das Karwendel hinein. Dafür solltet ihr allerdings schwindelfrei sein und bereits Erfahrung im Klettersteiggehen haben. Wir lassen es heute aber ruhiger angehen und wandern gemütlich vom Patscherkofel hinunter ins Tal. Dabei geht es über schöne Almwiesen hinweg und vorbei an eher unbekannten Orten. So kommen wir am idyllischen Lanser Moor vorbei, folgen der Linie der Waldstraßenbahn bis zum Tummelplatz, einem historischen Friedhof, und erreichen schließlich Schloss Ambras. Erzherzog Ferdinand II hat die einst mittelalterliche Burg zu einem Renaissance-Schloss umbauen lassen. Das Schloss war ein Geschenk an seine Frau, Gleichzeitig war er ein Kunstsammler. Damit ist das Schloss sogar eines der ältesten Museen der Welt. Das Herzstück des Renaissance-Schlosses ist der prunkvolle Spanische Saal. Zu guter Letzt haben wir uns dann nach einem ereignisreichen Tag eine Abkühlung verdient. So springen wir zum Schluss in den nahegelegenen Lanser See. Skiing is perfect and there are so many rad people you can go out on missions with. It's the ultimate place to be with ski resorts all around & great backcountry touring.
