I’m incredibly late to the party with Linkin Park, but when my friend suggested I do one of their songs as a cello cover, I started to delve in and just wow. They are so diverse and Chester’s voice is incredible. So I created a 6 cello cover and then added Chesters amazing vocal. Then I obviously found out about the very sad personal side of it, of Chester Bennington’s passing on and really felt even more of a connection, and in particular to one song: One More Light. It spoke to me in lockdown, in so many different ways. The words are incredible, the feeling behind it is incredible, the music is incredible. And it also helps to bring awareness to mental health and other issues which are I think incredibly prominent at the moment globally and on the 3rd anniversary of Chester’s passing. I have included the links to three amazing websites for information and support, Chester’s wife’s fund, Music for Mental Wealth (doing incredible things for musicians) and MIND. I hope you feel what ever you need to feel when you listen. Stay strong. Nick x 🤍 🤍 🤍

ENNIO MORRICONE : 1928 - 2020 There's really nothing you can say. His talent and volume of work and his love for music. Incredible! I remember first hearing this theme, a violin an orchestra arrangement, on a cd at music college in someones dorm. So it was very late on in my musical life that i started to appreciate Morricone, the love theme touched me, spoke to me so much i listened on repeat for an hour. I can't even remember the solo violinist, it was all about the immersive music. Late last year i recorded a version of this iconic theme for my upcoming 6 cello album, (as i just chose pieces i have always wanted to record). It was the first piece on my list. I have created a quick video to go with it, (with a few syncing issues along the way), but it's all about the music. Music is amazing, and the exponents at the very top of their game for so many years, and their catologues, like Morricone, Williams and now Zimmer, are there to be cherished for eternity. #thankyouforthemusic #enniomorricone Nick x Be sure to check out my website and social media: Website: 🤍 Facebook: 🤍 Instagram: 🤍nickivirtuosi Youtube: 🤍
