Aujourd'hui, nous nous rendons aujourd'hui au pays béti en plein centre du Cameroun et plus précisément en pays Ewondo, a travers ce belle œuvre musicale intitulée "Mazu é" de l'auteur Karol Mario Abessolo. Cette vidéo est en réalité un vibrant hommage à cet homme de Dieu, parti trop tôt auprès du Père qu'il servit de tout de son cœur. Synopsis: The Kung Fu action movie "The Legend of Mazu 潮汕風雲" tells the story of Guo Xiaomei (acted by Wang Yu), who inherited the jade statue of Mazu in Ferry Village, who is chivalrous, courageous and strong in martial arts during the period of the Republic of China. The Fishing Tyrant Huang Tianzong (acted by Zhu Tiehe) set fire to the boats in Ferry Village as a ploy to get his hands on the jade statue of Mazu, and his actions threatened the fishermen's livelihood. In order to save his mother and break his family out of its impending doom, Lin Taozai (acted by Chen Tingwei) of a famous family asks to marry Guo Xiaomei for his son Lin Mingyi (acted by Wen Xi). To save the people in her village, Guo Xiaomei had no choice but to agree. On the night of the wedding, the playboy Lin Mingyi, who did not want to get married, cooperated with the bandits and got himself fake-kidnapped. Closely associated with the goddess of mercy, Guanyin (觀音), Mazu is the patron goddess of sailors, fishermen, and travelers. She is especially popular in Southern Chinese coastal communities, in places like Fujian and Macau and overseas Chinese communities. It’s not uncommon to see Mazu temples or shrines every few miles along Chinese coastal roads. Mazu’s name is comprised of the characters “Ma” (媽), meaning “mother,” and “Zu” (祖) which means “ancestor.” Before she became a goddess, Mazu’s human name was Lin-Mo (林默), or “Silent Lin.” In Taoism, she is known as Tian-Shang-Sheng-Mu (天上聖母), or “heavenly goddess.” In the Southern regions of China, Mazu is colloquially called “Ā-mā” (阿媽), which can mean either “grandmother” or “mother.” Mazu is often depicted wearing bright red robes laced with shining jewels that help her be more easily seen by travelers at sea. Mazu is frequently depicted holding a ceremonial tablet that symbolizes her spiritual knowledge and wearing an imperial headdress that represents her godly nature. Mazu was believed to have been a real girl named Lin-Mo who lived off the coast of Fujian on Meizhou Island during the tenth century. Even as a human, Mazu was blessed with supernatural abilities and could accurately forecast the weather and predict the future. Brinquedos Cantados A Música e o Brinquedo são marcas de uma cultura voltada para a transmissão e a invenção. Matsuo Bashô, poeta japonês do século VII, disse: “Não sigo o caminho dos antigos, busco o que eles buscavam”. Desta maneira, a tradição é móvel e plenamente viva. No Pandalelê! Brinquedos Cantados, projeto que durou três anos, foi um exercício de escuta, de criação de arranjos e de aprendizagens musicais. Buscamos os sons que pudessem traduzir o espírito da canção ou da brincadeira em que se canta. Neste trabalho tivemos dias e dias de ensaios invenções e reinvenções das idéias e dos jeitos de tocar e cantar as músicas. Tudo também foi uma brincadeira. Cada integrante do grupo contribuiu, do seu jeito, na feitura dos brinquedos cantados. O Pandalelê foi projeto que existiu na Escola Fundamental do Centro Pedagógico da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais de 1993 a 2004, e formou vários grupos de brincantes adolescentes que brincavam com pessoas de qualquer idade, tanto da comunidade universitária como de fora dela, e participou de eventos de cultura, arte e educação. O Rodapião, criado em 1992, produziu espetáculos cênicos-musicais e participando de gravações de CDs dedicados às crianças. Foram montados três espetáculos – “Scherzo” (1992); “Dois a Dois” (1994), “Murucututu” (2001), Nigun (2005). Dos espetáculos foram produzidos CDs com o mesmo nome. Em 2017, o duo fez uma coletânea destes CDs, cujo nome é “Umas e outras”.. Com o “Pandalelê: Brinquedos Cantados” queremos convidar as pessoas de todas as idades, para que cantem, dancem, brinquem e experimentem outras formas de brincar. Para nós, ele é um incentivo a continuarmos buscando, inventando, brincando e cantando. Mazu Hall of Taipei Guandu Temple Mazu Hall is at the centre of the Main Hall and also the main worshipping area of Guandu temple. Worshippers are often seen holding joss sticks and praying to the Goddess of the Sea. The constant burning of incense creates an ambience that relieve the worshippers minds of earthly troubles. The main deity of Guandu temple is Mazu with her assistants Qian-li-yan (Eyes that see a thousand miles) and Shun-feng-er (Ears that hear on the wind) as protector deities. Mazu’s name is Lin Mo and believed to born in 960 CE. Mazus miraculous deeds of saving the suffering have spread for a millennium and established her status as a highly revered goddess. The folks addressed the goddess warmly as Mazu, Mazupo or respectfully as Holy Mother in Heaven. The design of Mazu Hall is categorized into the main area and the altar where the Mazu deity statues are situated. Both walls of the hall are lit with Lamps of Brilliance for worshippers to light them up for blessing and ward off calamities. On the altar table in front of Mazus altar, there are other Mazu effigies with different names. These Mazu effigies are invited by other temples for worship, or to engage in friendly exchange between temples.
